SEGMENTAL RETAINING WALLS – ANCHOR

Anchor Highland Stone

Achieve the look of natural stone in your retaining walls with the new Anchor Highland Stone™

Available in attractive earthtone blends, the 3-piece Anchor Highland Stone™ system features a natural, rough-hewn texture that closely imitates Mother Nature’s best work.

Anchor Highland Stone can reach heights of 4’ without reinforcement, (8’ with reinforcement) and is a more reliable and stable alternative to boulder or field stone walls.

Use the 18” wide unit for your base course. Follow standard procedures for your base course, including preparing a leveling pad that is at least 6” in front of and 6” behind the block and is 6” deep. Add, compact, and level the pad with a base material of 3/4” minus with fines. For best results, place filter fabric directly behind the wall extending from the bottom of the base course to the middle of the top course.

You can install the Anchor Highland Stone system with any combination of units. Remember to keep the wall on bond by placing units in a staggered relationship to the course beneath and pull each unit forward until the rear-lip is in contact with the unit below.
